Sweta Deb is a second-year M.S. student in Food Science at Cornell University. Her research focuses on tracking microbial population changes in dairy plants, from incoming tankers to the finished product. With two years of industry experience in dairy quality management, her time on the shop floor allows her to view her research through the lens of how daily operational challenges impact milk quality. Sweta is dedicated to advancing quality standards across the dairy industry and aims to develop strong leadership skills to inspire the next generation of women in food science.
